Objective: To analyze the effects of public medical insurance concern on the willingness to participate in medical insurance fund regulation and the moderating effect of government trust. Methods: A national survey of residents was conducted from February 2022 and March 2022，and a total of 634 study participants were included. A binary logistic regression was used to investigate the moderating effect of government trust between public medical insurance concern and participation in health care fund regulation. Results: Concern for medical insurance was positively associated with willingness to participate in medical insurance fund regulation (P＜0.001). Government trust negatively moderated the relationship between the two (β=-0.362，P＜0.05). Conclusion: There is a significant positive effect of public concern for medical insurance on willingness to participate in medical insurance fund regulation; the relationship between government trust in medical insurance concern and public willingness to participate in medical insurance fund regulation is negatively moderated. Therefore，enhancing public concern for health insurance can help increase public willingness to participate in medical insurance fund regulation.
