Abstract:Objective: Based on objective and subjective synthetic approach, it aims to explore the feasibility of performance evaluation of maternal and child health care institutions. Methods: Expert scoring method and factor analysis method was used to establish the index system. Linear efficacy coefficient method was used as subjective-objective combination method. Comprehensive scoring method was used in the performance evaluation of the institutions in the sampled province. Results: The index system including 5 primary indicators and 22 secondary indicators is constructed, and the index weight is determined. The evaluation results matched expert opinion and social evaluation. The sustainability of institutions in the sampled province should be focused on. Conclusion: The use of subjective and objective combination of assignment methods to determine the performance evaluation index system of maternal and child health institutions can reflect the importance of indicators and the intrinsic correlation between indicators, and has a certain degree of scientificity and practicality. It is recommended that in the performance evaluation work of maternal and child health institutions, data quality should be improved, training should be strengthened, and the application of results should be enhanced; in the construction of institutions, the focus should be on improving the ability of institutions to sustain development.
