Objective: To analyze the economic operation status of Public Hospitals in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, to analyze the problems and reasons behind, follow by some corresponding solutions. Methods Based on the data of health financial report, use the gray relational analysis to analyze the economic operation status of 10 public hospitals in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Results The economic operation status of the public hospitals in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region improved significantly, but the income and expenditure structure were unreasonable, the profitability was not strong; the debt burden was heavy and the financial risk was large; the asset operation ability was weak and the hospital development potential was insufficient. Conclusion Adjust the price of medical services opportunely, improve economic operational efficiency; control the scale of liabilities, reduce the scale of expansion; improve operational capacity, to prompt healthy development of these public hospital
