Objective: the essay is aimed at studying the influence of region population and health input on public hospital runnig by empirical analysis. Methods: the author takes Chifeng Municipal Hospital and Xilingol League Hospital as samples and applies contrastive analysis to this essay. Outcomes: the influence of region population and health input on public hospital runnig is significant. Conclusion: the public hospitals which are located in low population density area can’t adopt the same medical reform policies as other hospitals in different area. We should offer supporting policies which like that medical insurance payment, price adjustment，especially financial compensation.
