Taking targeted measures to help people lift themselves out of poverty is the key work of the central Committee in 2016 . At the point of medical insurance, this paper analyzes some typical cases. At the same time we compared the advantages and disadvantages of different policies for poverty alleviation and put forward some measures like strengthen the recognition of impoverished person, improve the financing level of medical assistance, enhance the level of medical security of major diseases and release the burden of personal medical expense .So that we can achieve the goal of letting impoverished person out of poverty.
