Abstract:Objective: This study was aimed to pinpoint the DRGs grouping efficacy as well as hospitalization expense and its’ influence factors for large intestinal malignant tumor patients, to investigate the grouping regulation and provide cost management strategies for hospitals. Methods: Retrospectively collected data of hospitalized patients with colorectal tumor from January 201 5 to December 201 5, applied Logistics Regression Analysis to construct main influencing factors of hospitalization expenses. Results: The median cost of patients was 88 642 Yuan. DRGs groups were mainly concentrated in GB23 and GB25. Length of Stay (LOS) , Pathological Classification , and Specialized Department or not, Tumor locations can affect the grouping results of DRGs . Conclusions: Delicacy management of tumor treatment phases and schemes should take into consideration for cancer DRGs grouping . On the one hand, the government should actively and scientifically play a role in the payment system, on the other hand, medical institutions should strengthen multi-sectoral cooperation, to find out the regularities of the cancer disease, and eventually pave the way for DRGs payment reform .
