Abstract:Objective: Analyzing the equity of general practitioners allocation in 2012 and 2014 of China, providing a reference for strengthening GP scientific management and resources optimization. Methods: using the HDRI, Gini coefficient and Theil index for GPs resource allocation analysis. Results: The number of general practitioners is shortage in China, the equity of geographical distribution was better than population distribution, economic level has a differences on equity of GPs in different regions. Conclusion: The government should gradually increase investment in the development of general practitioners, improving the geographical coverage of general practitioners, reducing economic strength on the configuration fairness.
